Philosophy of Teaching
I believe that each of my students has the potential for success. Students are unique and therefore they learn in different ways. I believe that a variety of learning experiences and techniques are required for students to do their best. The primary grades should be an enjoyable experience where active learning and sharing occur throughout each day. Hands-on learning is encouraged and class manipulatives are abundant. Academics, the Bible, manners and social responsibility are taught in my class. Students are encouraged to talk about their feelings, think about their actions, apologize when necessary and always forgive.
